AB  - Harpagoxenus sublaevis (Nylander, 1849) was found among ants taken in pitfall traps set in the Alibotoush Reserve, Slavjanka Mountain in southwestern Bulgaria. This species is new to the Bulgarian myrmecofauna that recently numbered about 130 species.
