Abstract: New data on the ants of Vienna (Hymenoptera: Formicidae). – 67 outdoors ant species have been known for Vienna (Austria) so far. Here we present records of further nine species, including the first record of Plagiolepis xene STÄRCKE, 1936 and the first out-doors record of Hypoponera punctatissima (Roger, 1859) for Austria.
