Abstract: For the relatively small district of East Tyrol in thc central Eastern Alps (2020 km2) a supplement to the faunistic Catalogue of the ants (Kofler 1978) is presented. The following species are submitted far the first time: Lcptothorax gred/cn� Lasius citrinus, L. myops, L. rabaudi, Fonnica pressi/abris, F selysi, F. lefrancoisi The proof of distinet species is to furnish for some species (e. g. Fonnica lefTancoisl).
