  • Abstract: For the relatively small district of East Tyrol in thc central Eastern Alps (2020 km²) a
    supplement to the faunistic Catalogue of the ants (Kofler 1978) is presented. The
    following species are submitted far the first time: Leptothorax gredlerri, Lasius citrinus,
    L. myops, L. rabaudi, Fonnica pressilabris, F selysi, F. lefrancoisi. The proof of distinct
    species is to furnish for some species (e. g. Formica lefrancoisi).
