Abstract:
Two species of the ant genus Acanthomyrmex Emery, 1893 are recognized from Vietnam. Acanthomyrmex humilis sp.n.is described based on the major worker, minor worker and ergatoid queen. The major worker, queen, "dwarf queen",and male of A. glabfemoralis Zhou & Zheng, 1997 are also described for the first time, and the minor worker of thisspecies is redescribed. Notes on the colony structure are given.
